This Privacy Policy forms part of the Bubble Bekkie Advertising Terms and Conditions, Return and Refund Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy and any applicable service agreement, quotation or invoice.

Bubble Bekkie Advertising is committed to handling personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable South African data protection requirements, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, commonly known as POPIA.

1. INTERPRETATION AND SCOPE

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed in connection with:

  • Website design and development.
  • Website hosting and maintenance.
  • SEO and Local SEO services.
  • AI Search Optimisation services.
  • Digital marketing and advertising.
  • Social media management.

  • Website backend support.
  • White Label Website services.
  • Client communication.
  • Quotations and invoicing.
  • Payment processing.
  • Customer support.
  • Portfolio and marketing activities.

“Bubble Bekkie Advertising”, “we”, “us” or “the Agency” refers to Bubble Bekkie Advertising (PTY) Ltd.

2. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT

Depending on the service requested, we may collect information such as:

  • Full name.
  • Business or company name.
  • Email address.
  • Telephone or WhatsApp number.
  • Physical or delivery address.
  • Billing and invoicing information.
  • Business information.
  • Website information.
  • Social media account information.
  • Marketing and campaign information.
  • Product and service information.
  • Information supplied for website development.
  • Information supplied for graphic design or printing.
  • Communication and correspondence with the Agency.
  • Information required to provide technical support.
  • Information required to process an order or payment.

We only seek information that is reasonably necessary for a legitimate business, contractual, operational, legal or service-related purpose.

3. INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH WEBSITE AND BACKEND ACCESS

Bubble Bekkie Advertising may work on websites that are hosted by third parties or maintained by other website developers.

A client does not have to transfer their website hosting to Bubble Bekkie Advertising in order for us to provide website development, maintenance, SEO, optimisation or technical support, unless a particular service specifically requires otherwise.

Where appropriate, the client may provide authorised access to the relevant website backend, content management system or website administration environment.

This may include WordPress or other website management systems.

Access is provided solely for the agreed professional purpose.

Bubble Bekkie Advertising does not require a client to move their domain or hosting services to us merely because we are working on their existing website.

This allows us to assess, repair, optimise or improve an existing website where technically possible rather than automatically requiring the client to rebuild the entire website or move hosting.

4. TECHNICAL AUDITS AND WEBSITE ASSESSMENTS

Where a client requests work on an existing website, website backend, third-party platform or externally hosted website, Bubble Bekkie Advertising may require a paid Technical Audit Report before providing a final quotation for the required work.

The Technical Audit Report allows the Agency to assess the existing technical environment before determining the appropriate scope of work, resources, development requirements and pricing.

The audit may require authorised access to the relevant website backend.

The Technical Audit Report is a professional service and is not a free quotation service.

The applicable audit fee must be paid before the audit is performed.

The audit fee is non-refundable once the audit work has commenced because professional time and technical resources have already been allocated.

Where agreed in writing, the applicable Technical Audit Report fee may be credited or discounted against the subsequent approved project fee once the client accepts the quotation and pays for the full project.

The Agency is not required to provide a detailed quotation for technical work on an existing website without first being able to assess the actual website environment where such assessment is reasonably necessary to determine the scope of work.

5. WEBSITE ACCESS AND CLIENT AUTHORISATION

Clients remain responsible for ensuring that they have the legal authority to provide Bubble Bekkie Advertising with access to their website, hosting account, content management system, social media account, advertising account or other third-party platform.

Clients must not provide access to systems that they are not authorised to access or administer.

Where possible, clients should provide individual user access rather than sharing personal passwords.

Bubble Bekkie Advertising will use access credentials and administrative access only for the agreed service purpose.

The Agency does not accept responsibility for access rights, permissions or security weaknesses that existed before access was provided.

6. USE OF CLIENT INFORMATION

Personal and business information may be used for legitimate purposes including:

14. CLIENT INFORMATION ON EXISTING WEBSITES

When Bubble Bekkie Advertising works on an existing website belonging to a client, the website may contain information belonging to the client or the client’s customers.

The Agency will access such information only to the extent reasonably necessary to perform the agreed technical, development, SEO, maintenance or optimisation work.

The Agency does not claim ownership of the client’s customer database, business records, customer information, website content, logos or other client-owned materials.
